Welcome to the University of California Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) Application Site.
Seven UC campuses offer students attending a California Community College guaranteed admission through a TAG. Interested students must satisfactorily complete UC and campus-specific transfer admission requirements to be eligible for a TAG.
Participating UC campuses are: Davis, Irvine, Merced, Riverside, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz. Criteria for each campus's TAG are provided through this site once you begin the TAG application process.
To qualify for a TAG with any of the UC TAG campuses, certain requirements must be met. If you are unsure about your ability to meet specified criteria, consult with your community college counselor prior to submitting your online UC TAG application.
You may apply for a TAG on this website. Once you have begun a TAG application, you can return at any time to enter your past, current and planned coursework. California Community College coursework certified on ASSIST, the statewide articulation database, is summarized to show satisfaction of UC and campus requirements in this application. All other coursework will require evaluation after you submit your TAG.
When you are ready, submit your TAG application to the UC TAG campus for which you seek a guarantee. TAG filing periods are posted on this site and may differ at each UC campus and from year to year.
Once your TAG application has been submitted, you can log back into this site to view the progress of your TAG application, including the final decision from your UC TAG campus.
